WEBINAR: What is the Australian BioCommons?

The Australian BioCommons is the digital capability working to enhance Australian research in its ability to understand the molecular basis of life across environmental, agricultural and biomedical science.

This large-scale investment in digital infrastructure will ensure access to the tools, methods and training researchers require to respond to national challenges such as food security, environmental conservation and disease treatments.

The Australian BioCommons team has hit the ground running, rolling out plenty of activities across the country already. We are keen to draw new collaborators into the active national partnerships we have with Bioplatforms Australia, ARDC and AARNET. Our staff are embedded in research institutes around Australia, where we engage with local partners to fulfil our mission to support world-class bioscience with enduring access to digital techniques, tools, data, and research infrastructure for Australian researchers.

What does this mean for you? How do you get involved? This webinar will provide an overview of the Australian BioCommons’ ambitious plans for the years ahead, as well as the services, events and strategic activities you can participate in to help us to build the Australian BioCommons.
