How we engage

life science researchers

Our aim is to engage Australian life science researchers as widely as possible to gather and document broad community challenges and define requirements for shared bioinformatics infrastructure.

We are already engaging with a number of domains, each of which are focused around a specific informatics methodology - e.g. de novo genome assembly, genome annotation, microbiome analysis, proteomics and comparative genomics.

Future domains may be focused around specific informatics methodologies,
data types, analysis platforms, field of study or other themes.

If you would like to suggest a new domain that could benefit from a shared national bioinformatics infrastructure, please contact us.
