Proteomics bioinformatics

Proteomics is the analysis of ‘proteomes’, which are the entire observable set of proteins in a given biological or natural system (e.g. tissue, fluid, environmental sample) under specific conditions and / or at a given time point.

Services and Resources

Find where proteomics analysis tools are installed and optimised across our national computational partner network.

Find reusable proteomics analysis workflows.

Use Galaxy Australia’s Proteomics Lab to upload and analyse your proteomics data.

Freely available via the Galaxy Training Network.

For researchers wanting to use Nextflow bioinformatics pipelines across a myriad of compute platforms.

Access computational resources and support for proteomics-related data analyses or software development.

Includes webinars, discussions and workshops themed around proteomics analysis.

Join the conversation - all welcome!

We help coordinate a community for computational proteomics and bioinformatics, which aims to:

  • Provide a forum to:

    • Connect with colleagues, share knowledge and collaborate

    • Learn about how to leverage relevant tools and services

  • Identify gaps in current community scale digital infrastructure.

This approach helps us identify and deploy relevant national scale services and resources (such as those listed above) that help address these gaps.

Roadmap

We have been engaging with a broad group of Australian researchers since 2020 to develop a Proteomics Analysis Infrastructure Roadmap for Australia, which presents a community vision for shared national infrastructure that will help researchers undertake proteomics analyses.

The Roadmap acts as a blueprint to inform the work we do with various partners to deploy the services and resources listed above.
