Cohosting events with Australian BioCommons
We regularly support community members to organise and host events related to digital life science. Where there is a demonstrable benefit to life scientists and bioinformaticians, we assist colleagues to reach a national or international audience with their activities. To ensure the quality of each event, we work intensively with our event partners in all aspects of organisation.
Support can include:
assistance with content creation
advice on bioinformatics training best practice
sourcing of expert facilitators
collection and management of registration and evaluation data
hosting and logistics of live online and in-person events
provisioning of compute resources
advertisement via extensive networks
capture and sharing of events according to FAIR principles
We deliver training and public events of a consistently high standard, in line with international best practice and our funding obligations.
