DevOps Engineer

Operate and enhance OpenStack and AWS environments, including Kubernetes clusters, networking, storage, identity, and security controls.
Design and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and AWS CDK to deploy multi-tenant, production research platforms.
Develop automation, scripts, and reusable tooling in Python or TypeScript/Node.js to streamline operations and platform workflows.

Reserach Data Management Specialist
Work for our partners at the National Computational Infrastructure (NCI) within BioCommons’ GUARDIANS project.
Key details:
Drive data modelling for human genomics and related omics datasets, implementing and extending Gen3 data models, dictionaries, and submission tools.
Build stable, ontology-aligned data structures that support secure ingestion, harmonisation, and controlled access, ensuring alignment with FAIR data principles.
Support integration with NCI’s high-performance computing and cloud environments to deliver Australia’s National Genomics Repository.
