Irene Hung
Irene joined BioCommons in October 2023 and enjoys how her work delivers national scale impact within the life sciences. In particular, Irene is passionate about creating and enabling innovative digital products and infrastructure that meet the research community’s needs. Irene brings with her wide ranging experience including consulting and project management roles across fields such as financial services, telecommunications and government.
In her spare time, Irene enjoys travelling, experiencing live music and theatre, and sitting down with a good book.
Irene’s position is co-funded by the Medical Research Future Fund and Bioplatforms Australia, and hosted by the University of Melbourne.
