Samitha Amarapathy

Samitha brings a wealth of experience in project and program management, including leadership roles. He has managed technical teams to deliver projects across diversified business domains including research, higher education, telecom, eCommerce, finance, healthcare and logistics, over more than two decades. Samitha excels at building and maintaining strong client relationships, establishing and mentoring cohesive global teams, and tackling complex problems. He is highly motivated to develop and execute agile delivery plans.

Samitha possesses a M.Sc in computer science and is pursuing a PhD in Data science and AI on a part time basis where he is investigating ‘Machine Learning based precision medicine for Paediatric Cancer Patients.’ Outside of work Samitha loves travelling, photography and sports.

Samitha’s position is co-funded by Bioplatforms Australia and the University of Melbourne, and hosted by the University of Melbourne.
