Primary logo: horizontal
The BioCommons horizontal logo is the core element of the brand identity. Through consistent and repetitive use as a design element in all of Australian BioCommons visual communications, the horizontal logo becomes a visual shorthand which identifies the brand.
The logo should never:
Appear more than once on any poster, cover or document page
Be recreated, modified or added to
Use colours or variations other than listed in this guide.
Positive version to be used on light backgrounds
The minimum size of the horizontal logo in print applications is 10 mm in height.
Negative version to be used on dark backgrounds
Exclusion zone
The horizontal logo must be protected by an exclusion zone of clear space at all times (this applies to every version and all applications).
This exclusion zone (1/5) is defined by 1/5 the height and width of the logo symbol.
Do not place important elements of photography or graphics, such as faces or headlines within this exclusion zone.
The logo image files come with the exclusion zone built in. Do not crop them!
